The collapse of social link is a problem noticed in France today. It is the result of a society which emphasizes the individual to the detriment of the group, because of the influence of the media, politics and the ways of consumptions. In reaction to this problem, numerous persons express more and more the will to gather within association.

Indeed, Thanks to the law of 1901 which regulates the creation of association, numerous persons meet through these structures. The association of law 1901 is by its status easy to constitute, it is accessible to all and leash of numerous liberties.
This association have a common cause, it has no lucrative purpose and of this fact aim at public and not personal interests. It needs to communicate to attract, federate and inform it public around her purpose. It also needs to report its actions in the structures which finance it so that these assure its survival.
There are wide disparities of means between national associations and the local associations. The local structures are small , they act within a district and are efficient in the everyday life of the inhabitants. Less known but so effective, they prevent the growing disparities and are more open to the public they want to reach, a weakened public.
The local associations of social actions do not have enough means and the budget reserved for their communication is almost invalid. In these structures, there is no graphic designer and little equipment which leads them to use what they possess.
Without qualified staff and with the use of standart tools, associations communicate by supports which contain numerous problems of visual coherence and do not reach their public.

However there is a strongly marked visual unity, that of the graphics by default, by the use of all the computer and office automation hardware available by everybody (paper A4, post-it, photocopier, markers, word-arts, cliparts, etc.)
Position as graphic designer working with these associations includes to take into account several parameters. These structures have very low budgets and have no means afford kills of a professional graphic designer. To try to answer their communication problems I thus have to take into account their working customs and their tools and I shall watch not to modify them.
In this project we do not have to create a graphic production for an association in particular, it will not be capable of offering itself to it, but I will propose a solution to their problems. I will attempt to give them some kind of autonomy in term of image. Associations will have to be able to appropriate the project which must not lead to a normalization of the associative supports of communication but establish a more recognizable identity low-cost and easy to realize.

For that purpose, I am going to re-question tools by default that they use and to update the graphic and visual potential of these, by approaching various problems. The creation of printing poster, by improving the problems of formats, hierarchical organization of the information and the composition of the document; the typography by helping in a better legibility and a better anchoring in the tone of the document, and on questions of descriptive, of location by allowing the association to be visible and recognized by it public. These solutions aim at adjusting the communication problems of these associations to their everyday life in term of image. My project is an attempt for a low cost graphic design: how to create visual wealth with commonplace tools.
